Shi-Han Nikki Mandel Directing Master Mu-Gen Karate-Do |
Hands and feet are used equally in Mu-Gen. The formal training syllabus includes both open hand and weapons training. In Mu-Gen, we work with simple, effective self-defense techniques, allowing individuals to work with their own personal strengths.
Mu-Gen evolved from a system originally named Kara-Do, which was first developed in the US in the 1960s by Grandmaster Warren Siciliano. Over subsequent decades, the style was passed down to several masters, each of whom developed it further.
The Lake Worth Martial Arts Academy is the home of Mu-Gen Karate, which is under the direction of Shi-Han Nikki Mandel.
